Got an email saying I’d signed up for some Microsoft service and it’s charging me £455.34 on direct debit. Rang the number straight away - picked up super quick, sounded like an Indian guy on the line. I threw in a fake reference number and told him I’m from the bank’s fraud team. He didn’t like that and just hung up on me. Definitely a scam, better to just avoid talking to them.
