Super dodgy call!!! Don’t answer, they’re scammers pretending to recruit for some company named Hampton Cross. They say they’ll train you in any job you choose but ask for a hefty £495 deposit right upfront! BE CAREFUL! NEVER hand over cash to these people!

Got a call about some online course that costs around £2000 for three months, supposedly to help with job placement. There’s actually no guarantee of a job at the end, just a waste of time really. Wouldn’t bother with it.

I wouldn’t trust giving any details to them. They might have just cooked up a bogus job ad on Indeed since they’ve got your name and contact. They tried to sell some kind of training programme costing £2,000 for a role since I guess they figured I had no prior experience. Also, the person on the phone spoke with a sort of foreign accent.

Looks like a scam to me, they act like a recruitment and training firm but then ask for money to cover ‘training fees’ because apparently you don’t have enough experience. I think they put up bogus job adverts on sites like Indeed and elsewhere too. Stay clear, it’s not legit.

This is definitely a scam! They rang me pretending to discuss a job I applied for, yet they insisted that I pay for a course in order to secure the position. What a con!

I got a call about a job I’d applied for, but before we really got started, they said you’d have to pay £2000 for a 12 week training course. The person’s accent sounded a bit odd and they talked just like those annoying telemarketers.
