2 yearsI got a call from what sounded like my bank, saying there was a purchase over £500 at Halfords and asking for a code they said was sent to me. They already had loads of my personal banking info and wanted me to confirm the payment. I wasn’t having any of it and rang my bank straight away. Turned out it was a scam, they were just after me to approve the payment. After that, I got about three alerts from my real bank about unauthorised attempts to use my card on different people’s digital wallets.
