She replied sarcastically that since they were online, that should be enough, then hung up on me. I tried calling back to find out how they got my number, but no response.

Upon making a call to the alleged automated switchboard at Rightmove, we found ourselves in a loop where we are promised connection to the next available agent, but it never happens. After attempting to reach an agent for 5 minutes, a voice finally bids us farewell and abruptly hangs up. This kind of experience warrants an investigation into Rightmove's practices and potential penalties should be imposed on them.

When I asked who they were, they said something like Betterimers Estate agents. The guy spoke really politely and clearly at first, but when I asked which company exactly he worked for, he suddenly seemed to hurry and ended the call quickly.

Someone rang me pretending to be from an estate agent (didn’t quite catch the company) about an online valuation of my house, which I apparently requested. They did have my name and address, so it wasn’t just a random autodial. My number’s on the TPS do-not-call list. When I told them I definitely hadn’t asked for any valuation since I’m not planning to move, they said must be some mistake and ended the call pretty quickly (guess they figured no point trying to sell me anything since I’m not interested).
