Received a call from this number on the 7th of August, 2018. The chap on the other end launched into his standard spiel without so much as a pause. I couldn’t help myself and kept interjecting, wanting to know which company he represented, how he obtained my details, and what made him think I’d be keen on discussing my investments or pensions with them. Frustration must have set in for him because he eventually branded me an idiot before terminating the call. A victory for me!

Never got the name of the firm, but it was a call about life insurance. I said I wasnt keen and the guy said it was just a review, not selling anything. When I said no cheers, he accused me of shouting at him (there was a baby asleep nearby so I was speaking quite softly). Then he told me to go get educated! Proper rude and unwanted call. Im signed up with the TPS so they must have some way round it. Blocked the number now.

18.05.16 - This bloke said his name was Henry and claimed he was from Scottish Legal Aid. He said someone in my home had been hurt. Didn’t even let him finish, told him to find real work and then I just hung up.

I answered but kept quiet. After a bit, a recorded voice started talking about taking out faulty cavity wall insulation. The accent sounded more Middle Eastern than Indian to me, but these calls could be coming from all over. Definitely another number to add to the blocklist.

I told him he’d called me before and I’d asked to be taken off their list since it was an unwanted call and I didn’t fancy any more from them. He claimed he’d never phoned me before. Well, he’s blocked now. Honestly, where was the TPS when I could’ve used it?

These folks keep ringing me up. They always use your first name and claim to be from some energy company or whatever. Trying to push stuff like new boilers or solar heating systems. They’re really annoying and won’t give up easily. Best to block their number, even tho they just call back from a new one each time.
