They asked if I was Joe Blogs and when I said no, I’m Joe King, they somehow got my name for next time or whatever. They pretended to be from some official pension review service. I told him that if I indeed had a pension, any correspondence would likely come through the post, wouldn't it? This company is NOT regulated by the FCA (and is NOT the FCA listed business trading as thepensionreviewservice[###] based in Durham) but a total scam with no official oversight. DO NOT engage with them. They rang me on my mobile, already knew my name, and said it wasn’t a sales call, but then immediately began quizzing me about my pension details! When I asked if they were a private firm or a government agency, they just ended the call. Watch out for these fraudsters!
