My missus answered a phone call and ended up agreeing to a date and time for a visit since the caller claimed they could help her save some cash. It raised my suspicions when they were asking for a 'security' answer that was just a colour - red, of all things! It felt dodgy, so I put a stop to the visit. The caller tried to set up another appointment, but I told him I'd reach out instead. He seemed quite hesitant about that, but eventually, he relented and gave me the details. It turned out the initial call was just a cold call, and they already had all our information.
