My phone showed it was probably a spam call, so I just ignored it and popped the number straight on my long list of blocked calls.

got a call from some bloke who was proper rude on the phone. when i told him i wasn't up for it since my own solicitor was handling my accident, he got all cheeky and sassy about it. said he wasn’t gonna block my number and that i’d just keep getting calls off him. his tone was all raised and sarcastic. i just ended the call after that.

this lad kept going on about how the motor insurance lot called about an accident i’d supposedly had, then when i asked where he was ringing from he shouted something like “burrrkeeeenheeeeead”. proper mad!

Got a call from some bloke with a Scouse accent saying he’d got my info from the DVLA and wanted to talk about damage to my car. My car’s perfectly fine, not a scratch on it. Told him to take me off his list and ended up giving him a right earful. Sorted it by blocking those dodgy gits!

Im a bit worried since I recieved a call from this number shortly after switchin car insurers through Go Compare. It makes me think that either they or the new insurance firm I chose has passed on my details without asking me first.

Same here. They said they were from some accident claim group or something, and that they got my details from DVLA. Problem is, I haven't even got a driving licence! I told them straight up that they were talking rubbish. Oddly enough, they just ended the call on me!

I've never had a crash and don't really drive much, but I got a call claiming I was in a car accident. Pretty sure it was a scam, so I've just blocked the number now.

They said they were direct response and handled DVLA stuff. Apparently, I was meant to get around £3-4000 compensation from an accident that wasn’t even my fault.

I was just in a crash.

Answered right away, they said someone in my home had apparently reported a car accident with their vehicle within the past 2 or 3 years. Seems like they’re just fishing through a purchased list hoping to catch a lead. I just blocked it straight away.

They only wanted my name, but when I asked who they were, they suddenly went quiet.

Some insurance place called me up saying I’d been in an accident, total rubbish if you ask me.

Got a call from someone saying they're from Direct Insurance, claiming they work with the DVIA or something. Problem is, I don't have a car or even a driving licence, so this whole thing just sounds like rubbish to me.
