I've had calls from this number a few times now, but they never bother to leave a voice message. Feels a bit suspicious to me.

21st February 2017, around 5pm.
I got a call from this number earlier today. The bloke said he was ringing from the boiler firm and told me my warranty had ended. He gave his name as George, but when I asked which company he worked for, he just told me to call him George. He obviously knew my boiler turned 20 this year, so I reckon he must have gotten my info from whoever fitted it in the first place. I asked if it was a scam because I’m not aware of a 20-year warranty on boilers. Right after that, he just hung up on me. Definitely sounds like a scam to me. BE WARNED - it might sound legit, but it’s not. DO NOT TRUST THIS PERSON OR COMPANY unless you can prove they're genuine, which I doubt you’ll manage.

I've had two calls from this number already. The person wastes no time telling me my boiler warranty has expired. Seriously, these types of calls should be banned, especially since older folks are so easily fooled by them.

Got a call earlier claiming to be from some 'boiler company' telling me my warranty was up. I told them my boiler’s completely new, which it is, and before they could say more, I just ended the call. I’m a pensioner but fairly sharp, so I’m cautious about these types of calls and hang up straight away. I worry others might get caught out though.

I got a call about a boiler service contract but I’ve never even had one! When I asked questions, they just ended the call. Sounds like a total scam to me.

They called asking for my bank info to arrange for a boiler service since apparently, the warranty might be ending soon. My boiler’s been going for 13 years now, so I knew straight away it was a con!

So this person called saying my boiler was just out of warranty (which made me realise it’s actually 13 years old, lol) and offered a service package for £199 because I’m over 60 - I did tell them my birthday. Then they wanted my bank details... that’s when I got really suspicious. I mean, how can they arrange anything without payment info? Sounds quite convincing if you’re not paying full attention or if you’re a bit tired. Anyway, I just ended the call right there!

This number called me a few times yesterday, I didn't pick up, but thought I’d check it out here just in case it was something serious. Since it's ringing back today too, I reckon it’s gonna keep bugging me. Definitely not what I wanted!

Received a call today from this number, a woman named Danielle told me my boiler warranty was up for renewal. She mentioned she'd post some documents in a few days so I could either renew or cancel the plan. I made the mistake of giving her my bank's sort code and account number - I guess I was a bit out of it, just got back from America and feeling jet-lagged. I tried calling the number back but couldn’t get through, which worries me now. After that, I rang my bank and they said that with just those details, the most someone could do is set up a Direct Debit, which I’d have to authorise myself. Hopefully that’s true. Right after she called, Danielle phoned again asking about my boiler brand. When I told her I wasn’t sure, she said a colleague would get in touch tomorrow. Watch out for this one!

I got a call from a company claiming to be a boiler firm using this number. They wanted to confirm my address to "renew" my boiler cover. They offered me a discounted price of £143 instead of the usual £179 for annual cover, which I never actually had. The lady on the phone kept insisting this was real and kept repeating herself. When I asked what I’d been paying so far, she said nothing as this was the first payment for this year’s cover and paperwork would be sent out. I quickly told her I wasn’t interested and she just said "Alright, thanks" before hanging up. BEWARE, THIS SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM!

Every single time it’s been the same bloke calling, asking for my missus. The moment I ask who’s on the line, he just cuts off straight away. Turns out, it’s some pushy company about boilers or something.

I got a call from this number saying my boiler warranty had expired and asked if I’d like to renew it. I told them I never had a warranty since the boiler's really old and was here when I moved in. Then the guy got all annoyed and asked if I even knew what a warranty was. When I asked how they found my number, he got even ruder! So I just ended the call. Watch out - there’s loads of dodgy callers going around at this time of year!

This number just rang me, claiming to be from accounts. I told them I wasn’t interested in talking and ended the call straight away. No sooner had I done that, the person rang back and started calling me by my first name, which felt pretty cheeky since I didn’t know who they even were. I told them it was quite inappropriate and that I didn’t want to continue the conversation. They tried to say, ‘But that’s your name, madam, and you have no idea why I’m calling.’ Honestly, so pushy. I just said goodbye and hung up once more!

Got a call saying my boiler insurance was expired and they were offering a standard cover for more than £135 or some extra option. When I asked for the details in writing, they suddenly got quite rude. Also, they wanted me to pay all at once instead of spreading it out monthly. They said they were doing me a favour, which felt a bit dodgy.

I got loads of calls from them saying my boiler guarantee was about to end and pushing me to renew it. Almost every time, a guy who said his name was James answered. If you start asking too many questions, they get really rude and hang up on you. Proper dodgy lot.

Somebody actually rang me asking for my grandma who passed away two years back. As soon as I said that, they just hung up on me without saying sorry or anything. So rude and clueless, honestly they shouldn’t be working anywhere, and definitely shouldn’t have our numbers! This kind of thing needs to be fixed!

I received a call from this number claiming it was about my boiler warranty, which purportedly had expired. They were quite pushy and insisted that I needed to address it immediately. They even requested that I provide some documents beforehand. When I tried to return the call, I couldn't get through. I suspect it might be a scam, as they were asking for my bank details to establish a direct debit!
