I've had calls from this number a few times now, but they never bother to leave a voice message. Feels a bit suspicious to me.

21st February 2017 @ 5pm I've just been on the receiving end of a call from this number. The bloke on the line claimed to represent a boiler company, insisting that my warranty had run its course. He introduced himself as George, but when I pressed him for the company's name, he brushily remarked that I only needed to address him as George. It was rather suspicious that he seemed to be aware my boiler was celebrating its 20th birthday this year, suggesting he must have obtained my details from the original installers. I probed him on whether this was a scam, given my ignorance of any 20-year warranty, and at that moment, he abruptly hung up. Clearly, this is a fraudulent setup. Take heed - it might appear legitimate, but it absolutely is not. Steer clear of this person or company unless you can get solid proof of their authenticity, which frankly seems rather improbable.

I've received calls from this number on two occasions now. They swiftly claim that your boiler warranty has expired. We really need to put a stop to these calls, as they target vulnerable elderly individuals.

Had a call this morning from someone claiming to be 'the boiler experts'. They insisted my warranty was no longer valid, but I let them know I’ve just had a brand-new boiler fitted. Just as she was about to launch into another spiel, I cut her off and hung up. Being a pensioner doesn't mean I can't keep my wits about me, so I’m always cautious with these types of calls. It's concerning, though, as many folks might be taken in by this sort of nonsense.

I got a call about a boiler service contract but I’ve never even had one! When I asked questions, they just ended the call. Sounds like a total scam to me.

They called asking for my bank info to arrange for a boiler service since apparently, the warranty might be ending soon. My boiler’s been going for 13 years now, so I knew straight away it was a con!

The caller claimed that my boiler was nearing the end of its warranty, which is quite amusing given that it’s actually been in service for 13 years! They offered me a boiler servicing plan for £199, stating that since I'm over 60 - which I did confirm by sharing my birthdate - I would qualify. Then they proceeded to ask for my banking information, and that’s when the alarm bells started ringing! I thought to myself, how can we arrange this without providing those details? It all seemed rather convincing, particularly when you're caught off guard or feeling a bit weary. I promptly hung up!

This number has called me four times yesterday and then again today. Nobody picked up, so I decided to search for it on this site just to be on the safe side. I'm pleased I did, as it seems likely they'll keep trying to get in touch. What a nuisance!

Today, I received a call from a woman named Danielle claiming that my boiler's warranty was up for renewal. She promised to send over some paperwork in the next few days, giving me the option to either renew or cancel. I regret to say that in my jet-lagged state-having just returned from the USA-I unwittingly provided her with my bank sort code and account number. Now, of course, the number seems to be unreachable, and I'm feeling quite anxious about it. I contacted my bank for advice, and they informed me that with just those two details, the worst that could happen is they could set up a Direct Debit, which I would need to approve. Fingers crossed they’re correct! Immediately after our conversation, she called back to inquire about the brand of my boiler. When I said I wasn’t sure, she informed me that a colleague would be in touch tomorrow. It’s definitely raised some red flags! Do take care, everyone!

I recently received a call from a so-called "boiler company" using the number mentioned above. They were inquiring about my address to supposedly "re-insure" my boiler coverage. The offer on the table was a reduced rate of £143.00, down from the usual £179.00, for an annual policy that I neither have nor have ever had. The young lady on the other end was remarkably persistent, repeating herself over and over again. When I pressed her about what I had been paying, she claimed it would commence this year. I pointed out that I didn’t have any current payments because this was meant to cover me for the upcoming year, and they would send the paperwork my way. I swiftly declined the offer, to which she simply replied, “alright then, thank you,” before hanging up. BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS!

What a turn-up for the books! It's the same chap ringing again and again, always asking for my missus. When I pressed him for his identity, he simply cut off the line without a word. Turns out it's this rather pushy heating company, or something along those lines. Quite the nuisance, I must say!

I received a phone call from this number saying that the warranty on my boiler had expired and asked if I’d like to renew it. When I mentioned that I’ve never had a warranty since the boiler's quite old and was in place when I moved in, he got quite irate, questioning whether I understood what a warranty was. I inquired how he obtained my phone number, and he became increasingly aggressive! I decided it was best to hang up on him. Just a heads-up, there seem to be a lot of scammers lurking about at this time of year!

I just received a phone call from this number, and the chap claimed to be from the accounts department. I politely declined to engage with him and ended the call. Not long after, he rang me again, addressing me by my first name, which I found rather presumptuous since I had no idea who he was and had already expressed my disinterest in conversing. He then insisted, "But that’s your name, Madam, and you haven’t the faintest idea what I’m calling about." Quite cheeky, if you ask me! I reiterated my desire to end the conversation and hung up once more!

I encountered a rather unpleasant and condescending individual who bluntly informed us that our boiler warranty had expired. When I sought more information, he refused to provide any specifics and abruptly disconnected the call. What a miserable character!

Received a call earlier, but it went to voicemail before they hung up. Quite odd, really.

I received a call informing me that my boiler protection had lapsed. They insisted I could renew it for a standard fee of more than £135, or opt for an enhanced plan. When I requested some written confirmation of the offer, they became rather irritable. Additionally, they pushed for a one-off payment instead of allowing me to pay monthly. They seemed to think they were doing me a tremendous favour!

Is there anyone who can shed light on the name of this company? I’m keen to discover it.

I've had several calls from these muppets insisting I renew my boiler warranty before it lapses. The chap on the line, who claimed his name was James, was particularly pushy. He didn't take kindly to my inquiries and would abruptly hang up if I probed too much. Honestly, they're a right bunch of charlatans.

This particular number keeps calling my home phone, but they always disconnect before I have the chance to answer. It's rather unfortunate as I’d be quite keen to have a conversation with them!

I can't believe someone had the audacity to ring me up asking for my grandmother, who sadly passed away two years back. When I mentioned this, the caller just slammed the phone down without so much as an apology. It was astonishingly disrespectful! It’s infuriating to think that such inconsiderate individuals are given jobs that allow them access to our personal details. This really needs addressing!

Just like others have mentioned, we received a call regarding our boiler warranty approaching its expiry. They were eager for us to extend it. I informed them that we actually had a decade-long warranty in place. Following that, they promptly ended the conversation.

I found myself in a rather taxing situation when I inquired about my details and then my wife's individually. It was quite nerve-wracking, to say the least. I requested they shuffle around a classic English proverb, and just like that, they hung up!

I received a call from someone who specifically mentioned my name and claimed that my boiler warranty had lapsed, inquiring if I wished to renew it. When I probed about which company the warranty was with, they abruptly cut the call. Clearly a dodgy attempt at a scam!

I received a call from this number claiming it was about my boiler warranty, which purportedly had expired. They were quite pushy and insisted that I needed to address it immediately. They even requested that I provide some documents beforehand. When I tried to return the call, I couldn't get through. I suspect it might be a scam, as they were asking for my bank details to establish a direct debit!
