Got a call from some woman pushing life insurance. When I told her I wasn’t interested, she got really mad and started saying it’s now compulsory by UK law to have one from this year onwards. They’re proper good at making stuff up to trick people out of their money.

Somebody rang me saying they were with Royal London Life Insurance, seemed quite polite but I don’t actually have insurance with them so it feels like a scam. Oddly, they did know my name and where I live!
