Got a call on my mobile at 2.10pm on 24/7/19, no one said a word when I picked up. Why arent the authorities cracking down on these lot? Theyre just the lowest of the low, scammers, crooks, and the worst kind of people out there.

At last I managed to tell them to buzz off. It really annoys me when strangers act like they know me. Lewis ended up insisting he hadn’t called at all and that I was mistaken! No chance I’m dealing with people like that. I have a feeling this isn’t over yet.

I never pick up any calls on my phone, whether it’s mobile or landline, unless I recognise the number. I’ve kept my number ex-directory and signed up to the TPS, so anyone using it should really be breaking the law, but honestly TPS and Action Fraud don’t seem to do much about it. There needs to be way tougher consequences to actually put a stop to this rubbish. Just recently, I got three calls on my landline from different numbers, probably about some broadband scam, and now this one as well. From what I’ve heard, it’s mostly linked to life insurance scams. It’s really annoying and downright harassment, so I’m relieved I didn’t answer.

not sure but my phone number is ex-directory and on the tps list so unless i gave them my details, they really shouldnt be ringing me. from what ive seen here, it sounds like a scam or insurance call. these folks should be taken to task. i just dont pick up when the number isnt familiar.
