Got a call on my mobile at 2.10pm on 24/7/19, no one said a word when I picked up. Why arent the authorities cracking down on these lot? Theyre just the lowest of the low, scammers, crooks, and the worst kind of people out there.

At last I managed to tell them to buzz off. It really annoys me when strangers act like they know me. Lewis ended up insisting he hadn’t called at all and that I was mistaken! No chance I’m dealing with people like that. I have a feeling this isn’t over yet.

I refuse to pick up any calls, whether they be from a mobile or a landline, unless I’m familiar with the number. I’m ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so using my number without consent is just plain illegal. However, it seems like TPS and the authorities are all bark and no bite. There should definitely be more serious repercussions for these offenders to put an end to it once and for all. Oddly enough, I’ve received three landline calls recently from totally different numbers, all of which seemed to be part of some broadband scam, and now I've got this other nonsense. People are suggesting it’s related to life insurance schemes, which is infuriatingly invasive. I’m really relieved I opted not to answer!
