This bloke claimed he worked with loads of insurance firms and said with price changes we could get better coverage than what we have now. Asked for 10-15 mins of my time but I said I was swamped and told him to ring back tomorrow. After seeing all the warnings here, I’m just gonna block the number. Absolute scam. Some life insurance firm I've never come across keeps ringing me. Doesn't make sense they keep calling when I'm already on the telephone preference service list!!!

I got a call from someone saying he was “Richard,” and you could hear loads of noise from a call centre behind him. He said he was from some insurance firm. Tried to be all friendly, calling me by my first name and that. When I asked where he was calling from or why he even had my number, he started moaning that I was being “aggressive.” I told him straight up that he was calling an unlisted number without permission.
