Got a call at 11:18 this morning, right when I was working (key worker here). They wanted to chat about my life insurance and mentioned info I’ve supposedly shared with other firms, but I’ve actually given them some wrong details on purpose. During the call, the person actually wondered if critical illness cover would cover COVID-19. Honestly, how daft can they be? Could be risky if you give them any personal stuff. Best to block if you’re able to.

Got a dodgy call earlier (either pushy telemarketer or some kind of scam). They knew my name, my phone number, and that I’ve got life insurance plus who it’s with, but didn’t know how much I pay or the coverage amount. Picked up the phone, a lady said, "______-my name," then there was this clicking sound and the call just ended.

These calls come almost daily now. Lots about £600 being taken from your bank, blocking your pc, or issues with broadband. Also, stuff about Private Health Insurance.

I'm starting to pay more attention but honestly, it can be pretty scary.
