They say they're from the NHS for a health check but it's really an insurance firm called Alexander Waddington Ltd, managed by a bloke named Simon Waddington and his mate Alexander Burgin. You should report them to Action Fraud.

This number isn’t a scam, they’re actually offering more than 40 health checks at my local chemist including diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol and stuff. I’ve just booked an appointment with them at the nearby Boots.

Here’s some extra details. This company, Healthy Extras from Sheffield in South Yorkshire, says they got my phone number from me completing an NHS survey - which I definitely didn’t. They claim GP surgeries aren’t handing out info about the free 5-year health check anymore, and that they’ve been hired to do it instead. Honestly, sounds dodgy to me. They’re ringing me all the time, multiple calls a day, so it’s obvious they’re after cash. I’d suggest contacting your GP to find out if they know anything about this. Proper scammers. 😒

This rotten number has been ringing me daily for the past week, sometimes 3 times a day on my mobile, and I’m really getting fed up with it, especially since I’ve blocked it on both my mobile and landline but it still manages to get through. Whoever owns this number should be looked into by the police and Ofcom because it’s ridiculous that these so-called companies and scammers are allowed to keep doing this. The government really needs to take action fast to stop all these scam calls, cos honestly, it’s just one massive con.

I rang back and spoke to a really friendly person. They just wanted to make sure I’d done my NHS health check in the last 5 years - when I told them I had, they said that was all and thanked me for the info. Seems alright to me.

Somebody said it was the NHS, but then they started asking me about my health stuff which they ought to already have. When I phoned them back, turns out it was a firm called ALEXANDER Warrington, nothing to do with the NHS. So basically, they weren't honest when she said she was from the NHS.
