Someone kept ringing my landline loads of times, even once at 10pm! Since I didn’t know the number, I figured it was probably one of those annoying calls and just let it ring out.

This number looks like one of those dodgy ones tied to either bank scams or dodgy delivery calls. Best to stay well clear!

I recently received a call from that number, and lo and behold, my mate got one at the very same time! We ended up connecting over the phone to discuss it. Makes one ponder whether it’s some sort of investigation or just another dodgy spam call, doesn’t it?

Got a call from someone claiming Santander and saying I had to deposit money by 8pm. The funny thing is, I don't even have an account with them!

This service reads out text messages by converting them to speech. What’s happened here is someone tried sending an SMS to a landline, which obviously can’t receive texts normally. The service is legit and you don’t have to worry about listening to the message itself. Just keep in mind that the original SMS content might be a scam, though.

Got a call on my landline but it went straight to voicemail. Heard a bunch of numbers being read out, no idea what that was for. I've signed up with the TPS so I’m not sure why I’m still getting calls like this.

They rang me at 7 in the morning and again at 9 at night but I ignored both calls.

Received a call twice at 7 and again at 7.09 on the 22nd of March, 2021. They did leave a message stating, "please do not pass this code on to anyone." However, the second call didn't come with any message at all.

This number called me earlier, but I missed it and checked the 1571 message afterwards. The recording was quite muffled and hard to understand, though the bit about ‘press 4 to return call’ was obvious. I just got rid of the message - if it’s anything serious, they’ll ring back, I guess.
