Said she was from BT but totally a scam, prob from a call centre in Mumbai. Asked me to share my router's IP and password. I just kept them guessing and killed loads of time before she finally gave up and hung up.

They said they were from JPS financial and wanted my date of birth and postcode for some kind of data protection reason!! Surely that's the last thing you should be giving out. I just said no way and ended the call.

some bloke with a liverpool accent rang me and asked for me using my full name and job title. when i asked who it was, he said it was just billy from some company (i missed the name but it sounded like a 3-letter abbreviation). he said he wanted to discuss a claim about some car damage that was reported recently. i told him to clear off and ended the call. not sure if it’s dangerous, but it was definitely really annoying!
