Got a call from someone offering help with Business Rates assessments, said it’d cost me about £850 for ten years of service (not sure if that means £850 total or per year?). They were claiming to be landlords or something, but honestly, it feels like a scam. You can actually challenge your business rates for nothing through the official government site. Definitely don't bother with these guys. They kept ringing me back, three different callers within an hour - so irritating! Total waste of time and money in my view.

A couple of minutes ago I got a call, but it was by the house number, not the business. When I asked who it was, the bloke just said ‘oh god’ and clearly didn't know where he was calling from. You could tell it was one of those cold calls from all the racket happening in the background. I told him to go and figure out where he actually worked. Ended the call chuckling to myself.
