Got a call from a number starting 0333 and thought it was probs some big company or charity so just denied the call and blocked it straight away. I never pick up numbers i don’t know anymore, i’ve realised they’re just annoying spam or scams that serve no purpose for me at all! these days if the number’s unfamiliar, it's almost always a pest call.

some bloke with a really pushy attitude started grilling me about my life insurance, which felt way too nosy. I mentioned that my phone flagged his number as a scam, and suddenly he got all hostile and rude. Honestly, him and his scammer mates deserve to be stuck in a terrible place forever. steer clear of this outfit and block their number, such massive time wasters and total pain in the neck.

This number has been ringing non stop for the past couple weeks. I never pick up since my phone always flags it as a scam, and they never bother to leave a message. Even after I keep blocking them, they somehow keep sneaking through and calling again. Really annoying!

somebody rang me, said they were from this firm called we compare. i had a quick look on companies house and turns out their accounts are late and the company’s actually in liquidation. the lady on the phone sounded lovely, exactly what you’d expect from these scammy types. she was trying to chat about my life insurance plan but i cut her off straight away and said i wasn’t the main policyholder, i’m covered under my partner’s plan so she’d need to talk to him instead - good luck getting hold of him! these firms are just full of rubbish!
