Had a call from some bloke who claimed to be from O2 saying my broadband was about to expire. Complete nonsense really, my broadband isn’t even close to running out and I’m not even with O2 for it. Just watch out for stuff like this, it’s dodgy!

I received a call from someone claiming to be with Worldplay, and they requested my bank information. Just a heads up, they might seem convincing, but trust me, they're not on the up and up! Stay cautious!

Some bloke claimed he was with Worldpay and wanted my bank info to verify some security thing. They sound proper sharp and convincing, definitely sounded like they knew their stuff.

some bloke claimed he was calling from vodafone askin for the account holder. i said they weren’t home and he kept askin when they’d be back. i just told him they wouldn’t be around, he said thanks and then ended the call. could hear loads of noise in the background so it was probably just some dodgy sales pitch.

The poor guy on the other end sounded completely worn out, trying to push phone contracts on me. Must be a tough job with no thanks.

I didn’t pick up because I didn’t notice my phone ringing. Figured if it was something important, they’d ring back. Not entirely sure whether they were calling my work line or my mobile since my calls get redirected to my mobile at the moment.

Absolutely terrible experience. They said they were Vodafone, but it was obvious they weren’t. They had no clue about our contract details or account number. When I said no thanks, they got really aggressive and said they’d keep ringing me. I blocked the number, but I’m sure they have loads of others, so I’ve decided to just ignore any unknown numbers from now on. When will the government actually do something to stop these annoying and abusive calls?

Had a call from Vodafone asking for my broadband and landline details - they were quite aggressive and not very polite at all.

Someone said they were calling from Vodafone, but the moment I asked for their name, they just hung up on me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone, and they were quite aggressive and unfriendly. They insisted it wasn’t a sales call but wanted to chat about my current phone plan and device. When I asked why they needed that info and what they’d do with it if it wasn’t for selling anything, they got quite annoyed. We’re not even with Vodafone, so not sure if it was a legit Vodafone rep or just a scam. Either way, I wouldn’t bother picking up if you get a call like that.

Got a ring from someone claiming to be from Vodafone about their broadband and mobile deals. Was a proper sales pitch, trying to get me to switch over. Pretty pushy, if you ask me.
