03334432955 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 03334432955 👆 is reported as a persistent telemarketing number often claiming to be from eBay, targeting small to medium businesses with offers related to selling or business support on the platform. Callers, usually polite and English-speaking, sometimes use real names and company details that can be found publicly. Experiences vary, with some seeing it as a genuine eBay outreach, while many suspect scams due to pressure tactics and incorrect details. Calls are frequent, and some recipients feel harassed by repeated attempts. A few callers provide email follow-ups from official-looking ebay.com addresses. However, suspicion remains high because of odd call behaviour, calls to wrong contacts, and refusal to provide information via email. The number has been linked to both legitimate marketing and potential scam operations.

Today I got a call from eBay, a lady named Mazuma rang me up about some sort of free service. They said they’d already arranged an account for me and even scheduled some extra coaching sessions at no cost. Honestly, great experience with them both, couldn’t ask for better service.

Got a call from a guy who kept asking for me by name, said he was calling from eBay about some free service they're supposedly offering to businesses. I told him the number he dialled isn't linked to eBay in any way, and then I just hung up.

Most folks reckon it's a scam but honestly it wasnt. I ended up chatting with a really nice guy who sorted me out with an appointment with an ebay expert about a programme they've got going on.

Got a call from a friendly sounding woman with a young English accent who said she was ringing on behalf of Ebay. She wanted to talk to the “Boss” and asked if an email about free selling had come through to our main inbox. The number she called from seemed a bit off, so I was a bit wary. We normally get loads of dodgy calls from weird numbers anyway.

I got a call from a woman with a pretty calm and friendly voice saying she worked for eBay and was there to assist business sellers. But as soon as I told her I'm not interested, she just cut me off straight away. Classic SCAM alert!

Got a call from a nicely spoken bloke about helping us set up our business on Ebay. He sounded pretty legit and wasn't pushy or anything. Didn't come across as a scam at all, just someone offering a way to boost our sales by getting us onto Ebay.

Got a nice bloke on the line claiming he was with eBay, could hear loads of people talking in the background like a call centre. He wanted to know if I’d be keen to sell stuff on eBay as some sort of business thing. I quickly looked up the number on Google and it popped up as a telemarketing scam. Told him that, and he just said, “Yeah, that’s what it will say.” Ended the call straight away. Just a heads up if you get a call starting with 0333, watch out!

Got a call from someone saying they’re from Ebay, trying to pitch some “special offer” for sellers. I didn’t want any part of it, told her no thanks. Then she mentioned she’d ring me again later, but now the number’s blocked!

Got a call from someone saying they were with Ebay, offering a sales deal. They said they wanted to talk to the director, but they dialled the wrong number - we actually manage two separate businesses at this same address. When I explained the mistake, there was a brief silence, then she just went along with it. Looking back, it felt a bit dodgy to me. I usually can tell if something’s off with calls and emails, and this definitely didn’t feel legit!

This morning, some bloke from England rang me up trying to pitch services for small eBay sellers. I told him I no longer sell on eBay myself. Actually, I’m with the church now, distributing bibles online through our website. I mentioned we even have a subscription service where folks can ring our 24/7 line to get answers about the bible. Then I asked for his address so I could post him a free bible. I told him he should stop tricking people and change his ways. He didn’t know what to say, said sorry, and then ended the call.

Despite what a few people say here, this call ain’t a scam. eBay actually have a scheme called Start-up Scale-up. I was doubtful at first too, but if you ask them to send you details by email, it’ll arrive from a proper @ebay.com address.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from eBay and asking for the owner of the business by name. When I asked what the call was regarding, they mentioned something about eBay for business. It quickly became clear they weren’t actually from eBay, so we just ended the call. Bit worrying that they knew the owner’s name, but I guess those details are easy to find on Companies House. Definitely felt like a scam.
