I just ended a call with what felt like another cold caller - got loads of them today and reckon there’s more calls coming back which I’m dreading. It’s so frustrating when you’re expecting someone else and it turns out to be one of these annoying phone salespeople. Honestly, both the Government and local authorities seem happy to let call centres drive us all mad. They keep saying it’s about “creating jobs”, but why should we have to suffer for that? It’s such a pain!

I’ve decided to just give this number a miss as I kept missing their calls, thinking it was the hospital trying to reach my husband. He’s anxiously waiting to hear about a major surgery and is on a waiting list in case there’s a cancellation. We’re on the TPS, but what’s the use? I've been calling every single day for the last month, but as soon as the answering machine kicks in, I hang up straight away.

Got a call from a UK number offering "free" advice about mortgages and pensions. I mentioned I was on the TPS, but the bloke insisted it didn’t apply to him since he wasn’t actually selling anything. He was dead set on proving me wrong and went on and on. He clearly had nothing better to do, and the only way to stop it was to hang up. A 1471 check showed the number as 03334432667.
