Liberty Solar panels, eh? I had a rather dreary encounter with a chap on the end of the line who had a distinctly Welsh twang. He inquired whether I'd received any correspondence from them. But, good grief! When I tried to ring the number back, I was met with an agonising pause before a pre-recorded voice-utterly American-told me to 'hold the line, your call is very important to us.' A quick search for Liberty Solar led me to "Solar Liberty", a firm located in Buffalo, New York. It’s all a bit baffling, really. I can't quite put my finger on it-are we dealing with some overseas outfit that’s set up call centres closer to home using a dubious number or simply sharing a coincidental name? One thing is for sure: it feels like I’m on the receiving end of a TPS-busting spam call, likely from another Welsh call centre. What a kerfuffle!
