This number rang me and a bloke said "hello, this's Phil," then there was a lot of noise in the background before he just cut off. I phoned back and the same chap picked up, again saying "hi, Phil here, did you get a missed call from us?" I told him "no, you just called me and hung up." His response was "that wasn’t me, must be someone else." I insisted "no, you said your name's Phil just now." He snapped back, "oh, so it was Brian then?" Seems like they switch names when they get caught being annoying! Still have no clue who they really are, but they were certainly impolite.

Loads of dodgy calls from those so-called ambulance chasers, absolute spam!

Every time I pick up, it goes straight to a message saying all our agents are busy and to ring back later. Like others have mentioned, they use numbers that look alike and soon as you answer it’s either “Hey, can I ask you three quick questions?” or they try to tell you about a crash you supposedly had. Best thing to do is just block their numbers or hang up right away.

I keep gettin calls from them from different numbers all the time, so even if I block one, they just ring from another. It’s about some accident I never had! I reckon this is like the 15th time I’ve had a call from that firm. I keep trying to block em but it don’t help for the reasons I said. Sometimes they just cut off straight away. It’s proper frustrating, especially since I need my phone for work and can’t just ignore it.

Somebody rang up saying I’d been in a car crash, but honestly, I haven’t had an accident in years!

Got a call from someone who sounded like they were speaking some foreign language nonsense, just ended up hanging up straight away.
