Got a call from 0333 443 2554, claiming to be my energy company. The person was asking for my bank sort code and account number, which seemed dodgy. They already had all my energy account info, which was creepy. Sounds like the caller was not local, definitely sounded like a foreign accent.

This number keeps ringing and I don’t have a clue who it is. I hardly ever share my phone number, so it felt dodgy straight away. My daughter actually got a bogus covid message on her phone recently too. No idea where they’re from, but I’m just gonna block it. Would recommend anyone else do the same if they don’t recognise the number, better safe than sorry.

Honestly, I think they totally missed the point when I said, “just text, no calls please.” So frustrating!

I told these energy change people I wasn’t interested cause I had a lot going on. The guy asks, "Like what?" I mentioned a death in the family and he goes, "Well, funerals are expensive, so you better save on your energy bills." Honestly, I can’t even remember what I said back, but I just ended the call right then.
