Got a call from “compare market,” trying to drum up insurance leads using some basic info they’ve bought about me. They started off asking about my health, partner’s health, property worth, and the kind of insurance I have, plus my date of birth. Then they handed me over to another person offering new quotes, without ever checking if I wanted to switch from my current provider. Quite pushy too, even after I said “no thank you” more than once.
