Got a call from Stephen at JPS Financial. He asked if I owned an Egg Credit card and if I had travel insurance, then went on about a car crash. When I asked what he needed that info for, he said they assist with getting you money back. Told him to remove my info from their list and maybe find a proper job.

They acted like I’d signed up online to get details about an Egg credit card, which I absolutely haven’t. The email they mentioned is ancient and hasn’t been mine for years. Total scammers. They kept saying it was suspicious that ‘someone’ was trying to open credit in my name. Honestly, sounds like they’re using stolen info. Blocked them straight away.

I rang back and it came up as 'JPS Financial'. I waited to talk to someone to find out why they were ringing me. The call dropped after a while, then the second try it just said 'goodbye' and ended. My mate keeps getting calls from this guy claiming to be from accident claims, sounds like he's Indian or something. When we asked him where he got the number, he said "from your ex boyfriend haha" which is nonsense cos she's only 12 and never had a boyfriend! He keeps calling and texting non stop. Seems like he’s just ringing random numbers and messing about. Loads of others have reported him here too. Proper creep!!!

Received a rather inconvenient five missed calls from 0333 443 2452 while I was busy at work, and then another two when I finally got home. Curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to answer on the last call. An individual with an Indian accent was on the line, claiming they were following up about an accident I had supposedly experienced last year. I politely informed him that my number was brand new, to the point where even some of my friends don’t have it yet! I asked how they had come across my details, and abruptly, the line went dead.
