Totally a scam, they turned really rude when I didn’t play along. Watch out, folks!

Got a call from someone named Oliver at Cleartech, he wanted to talk to the Director. When I asked what it was regarding, he started on about copper line disconnections affecting internet and phone, saying the Director needed to know and all that. I told him our IT and computer teams were already on top of it, then just ended the call and blocked the number.

Cleartech called with some nonsense about upgrading our exchange and saying they know exactly what’s needed. Total rubbish, if you ask me.

Got a call from 03333606195 once more today, these lot ring nonstop every day. They claim they've talked to people they never actually spoke with. I wouldn’t put any trust in them at all.

I kept getting calls from this number, really pushy sales people, even after I told them no thanks. They just wouldn't stop ringing and were a right pain. Honestly, best to steer clear of this one.

I've been getting persistently pushy sales calls from this number, despite me clearly stating that I'm not interested. They keep ringing, and I can't shake the feeling that it's a scam. Best to steer clear of them!

Had a call earlier from someone who claimed they were with Clear Tech, something to do with telecoms or utilities I think. They asked me to ring them back, but I wasn’t having it. Definitely sounded like spam to me.

This call wasn’t spam, it was about the removal of Copper services.

I got a call from a really nice bloke named Aaron who works for Cleartech. He was upfront about not being with BT or Openreach and mentioned he’s reaching out to local businesses to check how they’re managing the switch from copper phone lines. He’s arranged a meeting to pop by and have a proper chat about what choices we have moving forward. Seemed like a decent, honest salesman to me.

The gentleman was really friendly and seemed quite knowledgeable about the updates happening around here. He told me that Openreach are getting rid of the old copper cables, so businesses will have to switch to a SIP setup. He reassured me it wouldn't be expensive and offered to meet up to go through everything in detail and show me how he's assisting businesses to adapt. My current provider said I must make the change, but they wanted to charge me £700 for new phones they say I require, which sounded a bit much.

Just got a phone call from a bloke named Aaron who was pretty kind and explained why I've been receiving loads of calls like this recently. He mentioned something about Openreach being behind the updates they're making, though I can't quite recall the company name. I've arranged for him to ring me back on Tuesday since I need to go ahead with the changes and plan to use his help. Whenever I get a call from an unfamiliar number, I always check this site first, and seeing the good feedback here makes me believe he was being honest.

Got a call from a guy named Aaron at Cleartech. He said they're ringing up local companies about the work on those green boxes and taking out the copper phone lines. He mentioned he'll be visiting places nearby to give more details. He seems legit, especially since BT told me back in August this change would be done around Christmas here.

Some bloke rang me saying he was with Openreach and helping upgrade the local exchange box because they’re ditching the copper lines and shutting down the old network. I told him BT already mentioned all that to me. He was actually quite friendly and took the time to explain it all, plus he sent me an email with the dates he’ll be working around here.

I got a call from a bloke named Aaron at Cleartech - seemed like a decent chap and quite helpful. He mentioned his firm works alongside Openreach, not BT, and that they're helping with some local upgrades. I told him BT had already contacted me and sorted my upgrade just last month. Funny thing is, what he said was pretty much the same info BT gave me.

Looks like they’re connected to BT Openreach somehow. The bloke told me he’s “collaborating with Openreach on upgrading the old copper exchange box” and that he’s reaching out to all businesses nearby about it. He was actually quite polite, and he even rang my other business yesterday, which is just a couple hundred yards away. I’ve asked him to send an email with more info because a lot of what he said did seem pretty legit.

I’ve been getting loads of calls lately about some upgrades happening in October and how they’re switching everyone over to a SIP platform. Most times I just hung up, but this one caller took the time to explain everything properly. Apparently, he’s working with other companies on our business park too. He’s actually coming down to the office soon to go through it all in person and show me what services they’ve got on offer. Seems quite genuine compared to the usual calls.

Someone called to say they’re upgrading the green boxes nearby and swapping out the old copper wiring for fibre optic. They mentioned this could cause issues with phones older than 2 years. They seemed to know I’m with BT and even recognised my new Yealink phones. They told me that if my phones were bought from a provider within the past couple of years, I shouldn’t have any problems with the upgrade. Honestly, that calmed me down because I’ve been getting loads of calls warning me that my service might get cut off.

Got a call about switching from copper lines to fibre in my neighbourhood. I mentioned that BT had already sorted it out for us and the fibre’s up and running. The bloke sounded pretty legit, and when I told him BT made the switch recently, he said that’s great and hoped everything was working fine. He was well-informed and went over the same info BT shared with me when I upgraded my line just last month.

I got a call about some cabinet upgrade from Openreach, apparently they’re upgrading in my area. But I had already heard about it ages ago from BT themselves. The guy on the phone said most folks don’t realise it’s happening and that he was ringing up local businesses to keep them in the loop. We ended up chatting for a bit and honestly he just repeated the info BT had already given me.

I got a call saying it had something to do with BT and a bloke threatening that my phone line would get cut off on the 10th of October if I didn’t switch over to SIP. I told him we’d already done the switch ages ago! Then he asked for my name and started saying he’d report me to the MD, blaming me for the system going down! Proper cheeky.
