got a call from someone asking for the executive chairman, they tried to sound like they knew him by dropping his first name like it was some sort of secret code. honestly, no clue why they reckon top dogs want sales calls, it’s just daft. i told the caller straight that it’s not happening and ended the call there.

This woman was really pushy, wanting to talk to a manager or something. I wasn’t bothered so I just ended the call. But she rang me again on my landline after that. I just told her I wasn’t interested and gave up.

this bloke said he was ringing from cleartex and wanted to chat to our ceo, even used his name like they were mates. he said they had a chat before which was total nonsense coz our ceo is based in the US, and this was a UK number! wouldn’t say what the call was about either, just said he’d try the other number. yeah right, good luck with that attitude mate!

So today I got a weird call from some bloke claiming he’s from ClearTex or something, working alongside BT. He kept going on about how they’re ditching the old phone lines and doing some kind of upgrade, asking if I was eligible for some funding or whatever. He spoke super quick and honestly sounded a bit frustrated when I said I had no clue what he was blabbering about - like I was meant to be an expert or something! He mentioned he’d be around in September 2020. The number he called from was 0333 360 3862, and his name was Callum.
