2 yearsI’m stunned at how fast they managed to find my info, just a day after my crash. They ring me up claiming to sort a courtesy car and some payout. Stay clear of them, it’s all scams, trust me.2 yearsFortunately, I managed to miss the ringing phone. I make it a habit not to pick up any unfamiliar numbers until I've looked them up on Who's Calling first.3 yearsGot lucky here! These fraudsters who pretend there’s been an accident ring up loads of numbers all the time, probably thousands each hour. Once in a blue moon, they manage to catch someone who’s recently been in a crash and who falls for their trick. If you spot a scam number or have info about scams, text CALL to 7726 to report it.3 yearsJust got a call from some accident claim number, said I’d been in a crash. I’m clueless how they even got my info. Strange!3 yearsHello there! I’ve had a rather similar experience myself. I genuinely believed I was dealing with Admiral, but then they whisked my vehicle away on the very night of the incident. To my surprise, just two days later, they provided me with a replacement car. However, upon discovering that my case wasn't actually with Admiral, I promptly instructed them to retrieve the car and transfer the matter over to Admiral. Now, I’m facing a bill of £1600 for the temporary vehicle they supplied. Did you have to settle a fee, or did you manage to escape that charge?3 yearsI’m curious to find out the reason behind your call to me.3 yearsThis is just like what someone else mentioned. It seems my insurance company has taken to incessantly calling me from numbers that come up as 'no caller ID' or 'unknown'. It’s incredibly frustrating because there’s no way for me to block these irritating calls!4 yearsReceived a rather dodgy call from someone claiming to represent an accident claims service, bleating on about a car crash I supposedly had. Without a moment's hesitation, I blocked that number! Just a heads up for everyone to stay vigilant!4 yearsBeware of con artists posing as representatives of your insurance provider. Steer clear!4 yearsI had quite an unsettling experience with a claims management firm that seemed to present themselves as my insurance provider. Their promotional material back in June 2022 brazenly included Admiral's name alongside their contact number, and when I rang them up, they didn't bother to correct me when I mistakenly referred to myself as their client. They took on my ‘no fault’ car accident case and then promptly handed it over to a dodgy solicitor they work with. This lot operates out of Manchester, and to be honest, it feels like a complete con. A few months down the line, I decided to reach out to them again to air my grievances about the solicitors they referred me to. It was only then that they had the audacity to clarify that they weren’t actually my insurer at all, revealing their actual name - Accident Claim Helpline, a trading name linked to Exclusive Law, who are supposedly registered with the SRA! I've made sure to report them to Action Fraud for their dubious activities.AdmiralManchesterAccident Claim HelplineExclusive LawSRAAction FraudSubmit Your Own Report (0333 358 6666)

About 03 Numbers
Many organizations use 03 numbers as an alternative to the pricier 08 numbers. As an example, numerous public sector entities have transitioned from 0845 numbers to 0345. The price of calls is no more than calls to geographic numbers (01 or 02). The cost of calls depend on the time of the day, and most providers provide call packages that permit free calls at specific times of the day. Mobile call costs differ according to the chosen calling plan. Usually, these calls are incorporated in free call packages.
