6 yearsSome bloke named Alan called, sounded like it was coming from some dodgy overseas call centre, saying he needed to check my elderly folks’ bank info to 'upgrade' their anonymous call blocking. I said no, and he dropped a ‘Helpline’ number on me. Then, barely five minutes later, my phone rings again. Same company, same spiel. When I told him we already had someone ring, he goes, “Alan’s just a trainee.” 😂 Didn’t hand over any details, and now he says he’ll call back in a couple of weeks. If he does, I’m definitely reporting him for harassment.Alan6 yearsThis number called my elderly mum claiming to be from a company that deals with blocking annoying calls. They do have a site online, but I was told it’s dodgy and to avoid it. The third attempt they made tried to snag my bank details, impressive how much personal stuff they already had. The person on the line sounded foreign and got quite rude when I caught on and started asking questions.Switch2web6 yearsI got a call from 03333583899, claiming to be from Switch2web.
