Hello everyone, Just a heads up - we operate a website and marketing firm. If you've received a call from us, it's likely because you're currently running an AdWords campaign. We were attempting to reach out to see if there's any way we could lend a hand with your marketing efforts.

Just to add on, we offer our services completely free, compared to what folks were paying before, so as long as my product genuinely helps save money, my sales team will keep ringing up to let people know about it. Also, if you sign up to Google AdWords, you're agreeing to get calls from various companies pitching their own deals - that's just how it works. If you prefer not to have calls like these, you can always register with the Telephone Preference Service or maybe think about stopping the use of services that put you on the front page of Google.

Hello Teodoro, Shasta, Leta, I hope this message finds you well! Apologies for the lengthy note I’m about to send your way-this whole business of reaching out can be quite time-consuming. We’re known as The Ad Cloud, and I suspect you may have had a ring from one of our sales representatives recently. I must apologise for the absence of a voicemail; often, they believe that skipping that part keeps things a bit more intriguing, as many folks might dismiss us as just another run-of-the-mill marketing outfit. They tend to rely on numbers, and while some will look up the number online, a surprising amount prefer the enigma of no message. So, I’m sorry if this came off as bothersome. Rest assured, anyone who happens upon this will now have clarity regarding who we are and the calls you may have received. Just one last thing to mention: we typically only reach out when we notice some concerns with your website or AdWords setup. It might be worth your while to give us a bell for a complimentary review. If you call, just ask for Mark-I’d be the one to provide you with an honest appraisal, and my aim isn’t to hard-sell you anything! Cheers!

Hello Virgen, Sherwood, Kellie, I hope you can forgive the following message, as I’ve had to borrow some of my own words. This whole situation can be rather laborious, you see. We are known as The Ad Cloud, and it’s likely you’ve had a call from one of our sales representatives attempting to introduce you to our offerings. I apologise for the fact that they did not leave a message; they often take the route of discretion, presuming that you might dismiss us as just another run-of-the-mill marketing agency and therefore wouldn’t call back, opting instead to adopt a more enigmatic approach. Our team relies on numbers, and while some may choose to look up the number online, we generally garner a better response without voicemails. I truly hope this hasn’t caused any inconvenience, and it’s good to clarify who we are for anyone else who might be inquiring here about the number. As a parting thought, we would typically refrain from calling unless we’ve spotted a potential concern with your website or your AdWords strategy. So, it might be worth your while to give us a ring for a complimentary assessment. Just ask for Mark; I’m in the best position to provide you with a candid perspective, and rest assured, I’m not here to pressure you into any purchases!

Hello Lasonya, Tyrell, Raul, Greetings from The Ad Cloud! You've probably had a call from one of our sales representatives recently. My sincerest apologies that they didn't leave a voicemail for you; often, they adopt a rather elusive approach, as they suspect that some may dismiss us as just another marketing outfit and choose not to call back. Their strategy hinges on statistics, and while many folks might search the number online, they find they garner better responses by keeping things a bit mysterious. I completely understand if this has been a bit frustrating, but at least now you, along with others looking into this, are clued in about who we are and the number we called from. Just a quick note to add: typically, we wouldn't reach out unless there’s been a concern spotted either with your site or your AdWords campaign. It might be worth giving us a ring for a complimentary review! Look for Mark to have a chat; I’m the most suited to provide an honest assessment, and rest assured, I’m not in the business of pushing sales, so you need not worry about being pressured into anything.

Actually, I have to admit I was wrong there. Honestly, I hear "my site is okay" so much, but almost every time I look it over, there's at least a few tweaks or updates it really needs. The web moves so fast nowadays and changes all the time - if you don’t keep up with it, there’s a big chance there’s been some new software update or Google has switched up their algorithms again. Sometimes, you might even put something on your site that Google somehow flags as inappropriate. So yeah, it’s pretty much impossible to just leave a website alone without any improvements.

At last! Sorry for the rant but I feel like this issue needs more attention - the whole enforcement of the telephone preference service really bugs me. I’m with you on it needing to be much stricter, especially in certain sectors, and definitely when it comes to business-to-commercial calls since that’s where vulnerable people often get hassled. What really winds me up though is the way business-to-business calls are handled in my line of work. For instance, consider this...

If legit businesses weren’t allowed to ring other firms to pitch their services, wouldn’t that just open the door wider for scammers? They couldn’t care less about the TPS rules. So you'd end up getting very few genuine calls, making each one seem more interesting and tempting, which might lead to more people getting scammed. We’re a trustworthy company trying to provide a really good service at a fair price. I get that I’ll keep getting these calls, and sometimes I do give them the benefit of the doubt. Rant finished.

05/04/2016 I get why this site exists, but I’m just trying to defend my business a bit. These anonymous sites can seriously harm a company’s good name and the people making claims often don’t face any consequences. I’m perfectly fine sharing who I am, and it’s pretty annoying that, even though I’ve put my info out there, nobody bothered to reach out to me before posting stuff here. I hope you can see how tricky it is when no one ever tries to communicate first?

> continued> have there been times when we didn’t manage to boost traffic? sure, but it’s pretty rare. whenever this happened, i've kept running the campaign for those clients until the stats turned around. i did this on my own dime, never charging the customer, and honestly, most have been grateful for it. hopefully folks understand that even though we’re a business aiming to earn a profit, our main goal is to help improve your business and provide a good value service - something a lot of people are paying way too much for or worse, getting ripped off!

Apologies for posting so many times, this site limits how much I can write, so it’s tough to give a proper reply in one go. Regarding the comment from 16/04/2016, hello, I’m Mark. My sales team only reaches out if they think there might be some sort of misconfiguration that's costing you a fair bit of money. Of course, it's totally up to you if you want to look into it or not, but given our track record with over 100 clients, it’d be a pity if what you’re suggesting is true. On average, I help save people around £100 each month.

Love the green comments lol. But seriously, this site’s meant for flagging up dodgy calls, not to plug your book or start your novel writing career.

No, I never asked for any marketing calls from cloud.err or anyone else, honestly. They’re just like those annoying door-to-door salespeople. Cold calling is pretty much banned everywhere now, so it’s surprising these lot still bother.

Who gave Ad Cloud permission to ring me? Seriously, NO one invited their marketing nonsense. They're just like those pushy door-to-door salespeople. These types of cold calls have been outlawed in pretty much everywhere now, so what are they even playing at? Total cheek, honestly.

I've had this annoying number ringing me nonstop about my website being outdated and gonna get kicked off Google. They say if I cough up £300, they'll sort it out. If anyone from Ad Cloud is listening, just quit calling me. I'm not bothered, and my site is built with the newest software anyway.

hey everyone, just wanted to let you know we've found out there might be some copycat sites pretending to be us. we're looking into it right now, and want to be clear that we have no connection with any other businesses out there. cheers, mark from the ad cloud

Mark tries to convince us that Ad Cloud is totally different from Harpoon Media, which was flagged as a scam. But if you check out both their websites, you'd reckon they're just the same firm with a new name. They even share the same address! Makes you wonder if it's just a simple rebrand or something fishy going on.

What do you mean by shelling out an extra 30%? I could easily manage that on my own, couldn't I?

Hello Judson, I find myself a bit puzzled about how this website operates, as I can only view your remark. What’s sparked your response? I’m curious to know why you label them as a scam. Have you had any dealings with them yourself?

Who might this be? I wasn't able to answer the call earlier today, and I'm hesitant to return the call without knowing who's on the other end.

hey jt, ive been using their marketing services for a few months now and honestly, they deliver what they promise. ive had about 3 months with them and my campaigns have improved a lot compared to before. their report style is a bit odd tho, but I mostly care about the results so its all good! brad.

Interesting perspective. So, you’re suggesting that while these individuals might be engaging in deceitful practices, they still manage to run a remarkably competent and effective operation? That’s rather intriguing, isn’t it? Just seems a bit contradictory to me.
