This wasn’t your usual “who’s calling me?” situation but it felt really risky. At the same time I was handing over my duties as treasurer to a new person, a text popped up urging me to ring Lloyds. Foolishly, I did call the number. After talking for a bit, it became clear it was a con, so I ended the call right away.

Randomly got a text from a number I didnt recognise saying "We noticed a strange login, is this you? Ring 0333 358 3207". Kinda fishy cause NatWest normally has their name in the message. Plus that number aint from NatWest at all. Didn't bother ringing it.
