As soon as I picked up the phone, they disconnected. If I may offer a piece of advice, steer well clear of requesting a life insurance quote online! About six months back, I made that mistake when I reached out to ‘Reassured Insurance’. Their terms are simply appalling: if you happen to reach 89 without popping your clogs, they keep all your contributions with absolutely no payout for your loved ones. Since that day, I’ve been inundated with nuisance calls - I reckon I’ve had to block over 50 different numbers!

Earlier today, I received a call from a chap with a bit of an accent, using the number 03333448268. He claimed he needed my bank information to supposedly "refund me". When I probed about the situation, he said it was because I’d overpaid my last Sky bill. Naturally, I cut him off and blocked the number!
