Just got a call from 0333344 7292 claiming to be the business section of my electricity provider asking for my details. Definitely a scam, so I blocked them straight away to avoid getting ripped off. Watch out and don’t fall for it!

They call me pretty much every day, sometimes around three times, but even though I always pick up, they never say anything or leave a voicemail. Really stubborn bunch.

Got a call from some noisy call centre claiming to be from National Utilities about my meter. They first said they were with npower, but then the story switched up. Turned out it was actually a legal firm on the other end! I blocked them straight away.

Had a lot of calls from these business scammers, probably got details about our charity from some online "national utilities" list. They always sound like they're stuck in a hectic call centre, just reading off some scripted lines. Best to just ignore them completely.

So far, they've rung me a couple times since I got this new pre-paid phone. Looks like they've been digging through Facebook pages, picking up info like phone numbers and addresses. They said they were from the national utilities, telling me they'd heard I was now in charge of paying the electricity bills for a certain building. Thing is, I do run a business there, and who handles the bills is nobody's business but mine. Definitely scammers. My advice? Just hang up or block the number, same as I've done.
