What a peculiar phone call that was! It was obviously a scam, yet it featured a genuine individual on the line. They even addressed me by my name right from the get-go. It was quite unsettling how they proceeded to ask personal questions and even mentioned my age. The whole conversation took a bizarre turn and abruptly ended when I expressed my disinterest in life insurance. Very odd indeed!

I rang them back, and they claimed to be from a life insurance firm. Despite telling them numerous times that I have no interest, they persist with their calls. I reiterated my lack of interest again, mentioning that their incessant phone calls are nearing harassment. I requested to speak to a manager, but they assured me they'd take my number off their call list. Fingers crossed that it actually works!
