A bloke rang me up saying my "meter had tumbled into his ostentatious window". Naturally, I couldn't help but inquire if the meter was kaput and whether the glass had been shattered. I also made sure to ask if anyone got hurt in the process. He found it rather amusing and mentioned he could chat like this all day as it was cracking banter. Just as he was ready to end the call, I reminded him to be careful not to slice himself on the shards.

I got a call from some bloke at North East Solutions who was really pushy and quite rude. He kept going on about handling prices and wouldn’t take no for an answer. I explained a bunch of times that although we’re a business, decisions about energy contracts aren’t made by us directly. But he just didn’t listen and kept going on about how having multiple brokers was better. In the end, I just had to cut him off because he wouldn’t stop arguing. Proper annoying experience!

Honestly, I can’t stand getting those energy saving offers anymore! They go on about gas, electric, water, fuel, ad blue, solar panels, even wind turbines - it’s ridiculous. One bloke even joked he’d send someone to fan me with a big leaf while I lounge about eating grapes. When on earth do these muppets understand the word NO?! Total scam, waste of time.

kept calling a few times and wouldn’t tell me who he was working for when I asked over and over. also refused to talk to anyone else but the business owner, which is me or my wife, so that got a bit frustrating.
