I received a rather dubious automated call instructing me to press 9 if I wished to have my number taken off their list, but the line went dead before I could do anything. I'm utterly bewildered by who these callers are and how they managed to get hold of my phone number!

It's all rather frustrating, isn't it? When you dial 1471 for that automated service, you're meant to have the chance to press 9 to opt out of their list. Yet, what happens? You get abruptly disconnected instead! Quite inconvenient if you ask me.

I keep getting calls from some company called National Boiler Group about getting a new boiler fitted. Weird thing is, they never call from the same number, even though my number is on the TPS list. I've told them plenty of times to stop calling me, take my number off their records, and not share it with anyone else, but the calls just keep coming. In the last month, I reckon I’ve had at least twelve calls from them. I’ve tried finding an address to send them a bill for harassment, but no luck so far.
