Can’t get a break from these annoying spam calls, they just keep coming non stop. I’ve finally put a complaint through the telephone preference service about it. They ring from loads of different numbers, and it’s definitely a scam. Pretending to be some utilities firm, trying to scare you over the energy situation. Complete nonsense really, we don’t even handle bills ourselves since it’s all sorted for us. Just a massive wave of cold calls, nothing more.

I got a call from someone who said they were with the National Metering Office or some similar name. They kept saying "We know your business" or words to that effect. Thing is, I don’t run any business and this number’s not connected to one at all. Sounds like spam to me, maybe even a scam.

They said we had some credit on our account but couldn’t sort it out because apparently, we don’t have an energy supplier. Also warned that we were overpaying by more than 40%. I kept telling them they had the wrong details and asked them to stop ringing me.
