Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, but their accent was clearly foreign. They then started making threats, so it’s 100% a scam.

I’m based in a business hub and this number kept ringing all the different firms here, one right after the other. There’s about 26 businesses altogether. Every call had the same voicemail, pretending to be from HMRC saying we had to call back or risk going to jail. Honestly, the scammers should be locked up, not us having to deal with 26 repeated calls. Definitely blocking this number!

Got a voicemail from someone speaking with an American or some other foreign accent claiming it’s about an HMRC investigation. They wanted me to ring back a certain number - clearly just a scam trying to catch people out.

I just got this call too, with a threat about court and possible jail time if I don't respond. It's completely wrong, such a nasty scam.

Got a recorded call pretending to be HMRC, saying I had to ring back or else I'd face court action. Could really fool folks who don’t know it’s dodgy. Proper scary for anyone not paying attention.
