I’ve received four calls from this number just today. When I pick up, an automated voice chimes in, claiming a text message has been dispatched and prompting me to press 1 to listen to the message, 2 to save it, 3 to delete it, or 4 to block all future SMSs on my landline. When I hit 1, I hear a pre-recorded voice of someone sounding young, masquerading as an elderly woman, saying she’s texted all her friends about a sort of raffle she’s running and that she’ll announce the winner in a few days. It's painfully obvious that these are dodgy scammers. My advice? Don't return the call to that premium number, and definitely steer clear of calling the mobile number back. Best just to ignore it or delete the details.
