I received a call purporting to be from someone dealing with housing repairs and mould issues at my residence. I sensed it was a ruse right away. When I probed her about the source of her information, she suddenly fell silent and then dropped the call. She introduced herself as Sarah and had a rather polished manner of speaking. Given that I actually work in housing repairs myself, I could tell straight off that it was a fraudulent attempt.
