Definitely a scam. Someone rang me pretending to be from Housing Repairs, asking questions about mould and damp in my place. The voice sounded a bit fake, like a recording, so I asked where they got my number from and the line just cut off. I tried ringing back but the number wasn’t working. Don’t trust these calls and don’t share any info!

Our landlord told us they didn’t schedule any repairs for our home, even though we had work that needed doing. Feels like a total scam to me.

Got a really odd call from this number earlier. When I asked who was on the line, the person claimed to be a compliance officer working with the council and housing repairs. Apparently, there’s a problem with some trees next door - since they’re private renters and we’re council tenants, the trees are causing issues with maintenance on our place. They’ve taken over about two feet of our garden and stretch over 25ft tall, blocking all the sunlight so we can’t even grow any grass. Our landlord is already sorting it out, so I called them up and mentioned the call, but they had no record of anyone ringing us about this nor recognise the phone number. The caller then asked for more details, I explained everything, and he just said thanks before hanging up. Tried ringing back but got a message saying they don’t take incoming calls. I’ve blocked the number now, just to be safe.
