Just heard from my bank and they confirmed it's a scam. The caller said they were part of Barclays Corporate Payments Team and wanted to chat with someone in accounts about a payment that supposedly went wrong earlier that day. They even gave a reference number to sound legit. Definitely a dodgy scam, watch out!

I got a call from someone claiming to be my bank, telling me to ring a specific number. It felt fishy, so I double-checked by calling my bank directly on their official number. Turns out, they never made that call. Definitely looked like a phishing attempt to me.
