At first, the voice sounded like a robocall. They started with, “Hello, how’s it going?” I asked, “Can I ask who’s calling?” but their reply was still robotic. Just block the number and send any scam texts to 7726. Also, write to your MP asking why we can’t report scam calls directly through the police 'Action Fraud' website any more. Plus, why hasn’t our phone network rolled out Caller ID Authentication to help cut down on these annoying scam calls? If you get scam emails or screenshots of scam texts, forward them to the police at ‘[email protected]’ so they can look into it.

Never picked up but over time I've had tonnes of dodgy calls from 0300 numbers. Loads of people have checked this number on forums, like over 2500 times, but nothing changes and these scammers keep pretending to be repairs or other services. Funny enough I get these fake Eastern European dating emails just before the calls start. Feels like a bit of a link. I've reported to ICO, Action Fraud, 7726, and phishing emails too but it seems like the authorities barely do anything about these constant scams from 0300 numbers and email fraudsters. Quite frustrating really.
