Got a text from BARCLAYS saying my payment to EASYJET went through. It read something like: "If you don’t know about this, ring 03333394813." Problem is, I don’t even have a Barclays account, so seems like a total scam to me!

Got a message supposedly from Barclays saying "Your payment to IKEA has been accepted. If that's not you, call 0333 339 4813." I didn’t bother ringing them as it looked like a con to me.

I rang this number and decided to humour them a bit - the bloke on the other end was a young Asian guy with a London accent. He seemed well eager to get my card info while I was acting like I was some elderly person. Eventually, I had to let him know exactly what I thought about their dodgy tactics!

Got a text saying it was from Barclays, telling me there’d been a payment made to easyJet from my account. Seemed dodgy so I double checked.
