Got an email supposedly from Nationwide saying there was a weird purchase on my account at Selfridges for a big amount. It told me to call 0333 3391802 to talk to their support team. Thing is, I’ve never even had an account with Nationwide, nor do I ever buy anything from Selfridges. Definite scam if you ask me.

Got an email claiming to be from the bank’s fraud team about some dodgy transactions. They left a phone number to ring. When I called, they asked for my card details to supposedly delete these suspicious charges. They named a few sums and said they'd send a link by email to get my approval to fix the problem. I wasn’t having any of it. Then they sent me a text with some six digit code but I just ignored it and before I could say more, they hung up on me. Reported the whole thing to Action Fraud afterwards.
