I let it ring out as I didn’t recognise the number - it had all the hallmarks of a potential scam.

I received a call recently from someone with a rather thick Indian accent, speaking at a pace that made it quite a challenge to grasp their message. If I caught their drift correctly, they were asserting that they collaborate with various councils and housing associations to tackle issues related to housing-dampness, mould, and such like. However, when I probed for further details, such as the name of their company or asked them to clarify, they suddenly went quiet and hung up without a word. Seems like another sketchy scam to me!

Received a call purporting to be from a chap named Mike regarding some repairs I supposedly reported to housing. Sounded very dodgy to me-definitely a scam!
