I received an automated call that reminded me about getting my flu vaccination - spot on! It instructed me to contact my local surgery to schedule an appointment, and thankfully, it provided the accurate phone number for them. The message also mentioned that I could decline future reminders by tapping "2". I opted against that, and I would recommend you do the same - it could potentially lead to an unforeseen cost, though I have my doubts about that.

"Your surgery is on the line," they claim-what a load of nonsense, Mr Phoney Caller! It's nothing more than a pre-recorded message sent out without my agreement, and that’s a breach of the law, if you ask me.

It's just a robotic message with no warning beforehand, which is dodgy as anything.
