Got a recorded message about booking a flu jab. It told me to call my doctor's practice, and the number it gave was spot on. The voice also mentioned I could press "2" to stop getting these reminders in the future. I didn’t press it, and I'd probably advise you not to either - might end up costing you, though I’m not sure if it actually will.

"Your surgery is on the line," they claim-what a load of nonsense, Mr Phoney Caller! It's nothing more than a pre-recorded message sent out without my agreement, and that’s a breach of the law, if you ask me.

Got one of those pre-recorded robotic messages out of the blue, which I don't think is even allowed without asking first.

Then they try to sell me some bizarre "Banoffee Pasta" nonsense? That doesn’t make it any more trustworthy, just sounds dodgy to me.

Got a recorded message from my local doctor's office about the flu vaccine. Seems like they send the exact same thing to everyone.

This number rang me up saying it was the doctor’s office, saying one of our family might get the flu, and pushed to book a jab appointment.
