This number is actually connected to Chrysalis Finance. When I answered, an automated voice came on straight away saying "this call is being recorded" so I just put the phone down. I do have an account with them but can't say for sure if it was really them or if the number was being faked. Either way, I wouldn’t trust any call that starts out like that.

Some telemarketer called me about cleaning gear. I said no thanks since the prices were way too high. Maybe I'd consider it if they were more affordable.

Got a call from Phoenix. They sounded really pushy and rude. Said they work for some council, but honestly, I wouldn’t trust them. Definitely mark the number as spam and block it.

The message was poorly composed with loads of random capitals like 'ENFORECEMENT TEAM' which makes it come off a bit intimidating.

Got a text on my phone from a number in Phoenix sayin’ they’ve been tryna reach me loads of times and that I ignored some letters. Didn’t think it was legit so I just blocked them, hid the texts, and deleted the message straight away.

0333 323 2169 has rung me a few times but I couldn’t pick up any of them. Honestly, seeing a number like this I wouldn’t have answered it even if I could. Pretty sure it’s some kind of scam, so best to just block it.

They rang me and then just cut off - how is it that these callers are still permitted to function? It’s quite baffling.

Got a message telling me I’d not replied to a letter about my Phoenix account and they want me to ring 0333 3230333. I’ve never heard of this company and never got any letter from them. Seems dodgy to me, probably a scam.

I’ve been getting loads of texts from this firm called ANPR, saying cars in my area are registered with them or something - some Phoenix account? I have no clue who they are. I haven’t done anything dodgy for them to start threatening with clamping or taking my car away!

Mate of mine got a message saying some ANPR team was working nearby and that his car, which hasn’t been on the road for ages and is just sitting on his driveway, has some sort of driving or parking fine. They said if he doesn’t pay up, they’ll clamp the car. Sounds like a proper scam to me.

Got a call from some so-called debt collectors named Phoenix. They said I owed money on a Lloyds account which isn’t mine at all since I don’t even have an account there. Total scam and just dodgy info. Blocked them straight away.

I recently encountered a rather shifty 'debt recovery' firm calling themselves Phoenix. They insisted that I had an outstanding debt related to a Lloyds bank account that I’ve never even held, given that I don’t bank there at all. Clearly, these blokes are nothing but fraudsters with a penchant for misinformation. I've swiftly added them to my blocked list!

Fishy bailiff calling me up and dropping texts about some supposed "debt account" and an "important letter" - never heard of it before! I ain’t got any debts with them. They didn’t even give a reference number in their messages, just waiting for me to call back so they can try to scam my info, I reckon.

Got like 13 texts back to back (and they keep coming) saying I hadn’t replied about some important letter about an account (gave an a/c number) and to ring the number. I checked it out and it seems to be some bailiff firm I’ve never come across or got any letters from, plus I don’t owe them a penny!
