After waiting a full day, I decided to give the dealership a bell, only to be told that my application was denied, despite them having previously indicated my credit was in good standing. They offered to seek alternatives for just a tenner more a month, totalling £360 over three years. I’ll be giving them a ring tomorrow to see how they respond. I have a murky past and can’t shake the feeling something isn't right here. I found the contact number for this so-called credit rep on this site, and I’m starting to believe this car deal was nothing more than a ruse... or, to put it differently, a cleverly hidden trap!
